Plasturgia industrial partner of the European project COMPOLIVE

The Compolive project, funded by the European Life fund, aims to generate new biocomposites from the fiber of olive pits.

Andaltec, pilot of this project, is a research center on thermoplastic materials based in the heart of the most important region in the world producing olive oil.

Plasturgia participates in this project as an industrialist, alongside Matriceria Pena, a Spanish manufacturer of plastic extrusion tools, and the German research center of the car manufacturer Ford.

Plasturgia will be more specifically responsible for promoting this new biocomposite on the interior design market (offices, housing, etc.). The first demonstrators are planned for 2021.
